Apparel &
Accessories
Huge selection of
products. Too big?
At THREADS we have several online
catalogs, a
dozen more vendors not even posted and virtually unlimited wholesale buying power. You
name it, we've got or can get it.
Too many choices? We hear that a
lot. Don't worry, you don't have to know it all. You can get help from our "Resident Fashion Expert".

Want to know what's up with all
the choices? Here are some apparel basics:
T-Shirts, simple enough,
right? Could be but why do we carry so many then? Things to consider in choosing
include color availability, weight, fabric (all cotton, 50/50 or specialty) and even brand
preference. Probably one of our most affordable tees is this Port
& Company; our most
popular the Hanes Beefy-T
and then there is tie
die!
Most inquires we receive are for
Polos, referred to in most catalogs as Sports Shirts. The first
choice to make is pique (a
knitting method that creates a fine textured surface like a waffle weave) or jersey (fabric
has a finish more like a t-shirt).
Jerseys are usually less expensive but most people expect or prefer the pique.
Then there are fabric choices of basic cotton, fine cotton, a blend or an every
growing array of specialty and performance fabrics. In selecting polos, use and
price point are important factors to consider. Though there are very affordable
options out there (such as this Gildan
pique), you'll pay a
pretty penny but be the envy of your friends in this
one by Nike Golf.
Wovens include twills,
oxfords, denim and even camp
shirts. Again, you have
several fabrics to chose from, from the exotic to the utilitarian. Far and away,
our top seller is the Easy
Care twill which is
soft, stylish for both ladies and men and resists wrinkles.
And though our product lines include accessories such
as totes, briefcases, golf towels, duffles and aprons and other apparel categories
such as youth, ladies, outerwear, activewear and even safety clothing, easily
our most voluminous array is found in Caps. One catalog alone features 33
cap styles. We even have
a catalog full of just
caps. The Port
Authority Signature line combines quality,
value and selection quite nicely.
There's my quick rundown of some of our most common
items.
